2020 election audits are heating up in Wisconsin. Earlier this week, Michael Gableman accused the mayors of Madison and Green Bay of a cover-up, according to Conservative Brief.
Gableman, a former Wisconsin Supreme Court justice, is leading one of the investigations. “They are trying to run and hide from accountability,” he says.
This is just the latest detour for audit efforts in Wisconsin. Like in other states, support for the investigations is lacking, even from Republicans.
Many are disappointed that Senator Ron Johnson, once considered a strong ally of President Trump, has been increasingly silent about the 2020 election. Johnson has not said if he is running for reelection next year.
